Beschreibung
Set in late 20th Century Argentina, Northern Ireland, and the United States, You've Found Her explores the complexities of creating a cross-cultural adult family in the midst of ongoing political intrigue and past relationships based on lies. It tells the intertwined stories of exiled Argentine spy, Ofelia Cruz, and the twin daughters she gave up at birth. The twins, who grew up separately in Argentina and the United States, first met six months previously, at the age of 38. Motivated to develop their own relationship, as well as to understand the reasons for their mother's life decisions, they travel to Northern Ireland to meet with Ofelia where she has been in hiding for the past eight years. There, they begin the difficult process of cutting through the layers of self-protection each has created as they faced the challenges of their unique life histories. At the same time, their reunion launches events that stir up forces driving Ofelia out of hiding and back into Argentina's complex political landscape, ultimately freeing the three women to move on with their lives and unite as a family in unexpected ways.
