It's the start of a new school year in a picture-perfect Boston fall, and things are just starting to get back to normal for Sam - when a visiting artist (and enfant terrible) threatens to derail everything. Things go from bad to worse when Sam finds the artist's body one morning in her studio. Soon, her beloved mentor (and elegant sculptor) Agnes is the primary suspect. Knowing that the clock is ticking to clear her professor's name - and trying not to be too distracted by her new romance with her long-time crush, Arun - Sam sets out to search through old studios, turn a gallery opening into an interrogation, and figure out who is trying to frame Agnes.
But will Sam clear Agnes' name - or is she on a collision course with a killer?
