Beschreibung
“Bowlby’s theory of maternal deprivation proposes that a child’s early separation from their primary caregiver (usually the mother) can have negative effects on their emotional and social development and can lead to so many problems as they grow older.” “The Loss of a parent of forceful separation causes extreme psychological harm. Separated from a parent, causes extreme psychological harm. Separated from a parent, the child feels fear, abandonment, loss, the end of his or her world, tiny and limited as it is, held together only by a mother’s touch and love. Comfort in a hug, security in a loving gaze has disappeared.” I’d like to end my story with referring to all the false things ever said about me as a mother and of my character as a mirror and that writing this book, my hope, is to “Shatter” that False Narrative of me as a mother., the mirror. To begin finally breaking apart piece by piece all the lies, all the scripts of me that are untrue to finally get to the horrible realities that took place.
