Set in the 1980s, when sex tourism was rampant in the Philippines, a young gangster, scarred by a childhood with an abusive alcoholic father, seeks to break free from the violent world he's grown up in. Despite his desire to escape, he's pulled deeper into the criminal underworld, driven by a vow of vengeance against those who've caused him and his loved ones harm. His life takes an unexpected turn when he falls in love with a college coed who shows him the possibility of a better future.
