The text consists of 28 chapters, divided into 4 sections, each characterized by a different colour: BASIC CONCEPTS, THE PATIENT WITH PERIODONTAL DISEASE, THE PATIENT SUSCEPTIBLE TO CARIES, THE PATIENT WITH IMPLANTS.
The first section, " BASIC CONCEPTS ", deal with all the basic subjects of Dentistry from the point of view of Dental Hygienist.
This initial section is followed by 3 specific sections that explain how these basic concepts are applied “tailored-made”, in the treatment of the patient with Periodontitis, the patient who is susceptible to Caries, and the patient who has prosthetic rehabilitation on implants, giving useful suggestions and practical advice.
The author has dedicated meticulous attention to the iconography with photos, bi and three-dimensional and tables of rapid consultation. Furthermore, video clips have been included in this digital version, to give further didactic support to the text.
