Marriage to half-sister, 'miracles' surrounding 'cursed' mummy, mystery name Tutankhamun. It was once claimed that an X-ray report showed signs of trauma and blood clots to the back of Tutankhamen's head. From this it is assumed that he was killed.
But later the DNA test revealed that the premature death of young Pharoah was due to malaria infection in the brain. Some studies have also claimed that the blood of that pharaoh of Egypt lacked red blood cells. He died due to some disease due to genetic problem.
Others have claimed that his wife Aneksenamun killed him with a charioteer in a bid to seize power.
Just as there are many stories about Tutankhamen's death, so are his so-called curses. The crowns of the pharaohs had images of hooded bull snakes. Rumor has it that on the day Tutankhamen's tomb was opened, Carter returned home to find an Egyptian gopher devouring his pet yellow canary.
When Carter resumed the search for Tutankhamen's tomb after World War I, excavations were not permitted.
Financed by British billionaire Lord Carnarvon. It is said that Carnarvon's cheek was cut while shaving. This is very normal. But because of this he got septicemia. He died on April 5, 1923 in Cairo.
His pet dog also died in London on the same day. Miraculous stories spread around these two deaths on the same day. Many say that Carnarvon noticed something supernatural the day before his death.
