Seminar paper from the year 2023 in the subject Psychology - Work, Business, Organisation, grade: 1,6, , course: Leadership & Human Resource Management, language: English, abstract: How can we humans specifically influence ourselves to experience efficiency and success? Several psychologists developed various theories on how we ourselves can direct our behavior, emotions and thoughts in a direction we desire and give instructions on how to apply these strategies in practice and extend them to everyday working life. Not everyone has the same conditions to learn to influence themselves. Can this be related to our personality traits? For this, I examine the connection between Self-Leadership and the world famous Big-5 personality traits. This interplay also has an impact on the way people influence and lead other people. An increasingly pressing issue is our climate change. So the question arises: „Is it possible to save our planet through self-leadership? “
