The aunties, uncles, and others who brought comfort and nourishment -laid hands in prayer, wiped tears, bandaged knees -often demonstrated their love for you through food. Most of what's written in this love letter was passed down by oral tradition, studying the works of others, and by improvisation- each one making it their own. Part of this love letter pays respect to all the nameless, faceless, and forgotten masters in the kitchen who came before us. Honor them while still making the meal your own.
