death with boulders stacked upon his chest. The Broom
picks up where the history of the Salem Witch Trials leaves
off , trailing the destiny of two women caught within the mass
hysteria: one factual and one fictional. The book combines
historical accounts with a family secret that is connected
to an ancient broom that eventually became an heirloom.
Lydia escapes Salem, eluding capture, but is disturbed by
the haunting tales of witchcraft and voodoo. The story of
Lydia Thorn intertwines with the events of the 1700's and
gives the reader an impassioned slice of life relevant to the
period.
Follow Lydia as we recount her transformation from human
to immortal as she survives life and struggles with the
forces of good and evil.
