What philosophy can legitimately be said to be Christian? There is a difference, the author states, between Christian philosophy, philosophy in general, and science. Christian philosophy derives its authority not from scientific information, nor from ideas assumed to be basic in the human mind, but, rather, it rests on the words spoken by Jesus himself. Beginning with the Gospel of John, Halliday clearly and uniquely penetrates the inner meaning of the words of Jesus Christ, revealing for us the basic truths of Christian philosophy.
