Together we're going to go through the basics - and even some of the not-so basics - of how to line edit. I wrote loads of examples. I threw in a bunch of advice that I got from published authors and professional editors. I put down why some things are OK and other things are not, rather than just shouting at you. Oh, and when you're finished, you'll seriously level up at grammar.
